Flow Pack and Flow Wrapping Machines
A flow pack machine (flow wrapping machine, horizontal form-fill-seal) wraps piece products in a three-seam pack from roll film: a longitudinal seam and two cross seals. SIGITASPAK supplies flow pack machines from compact models at 60 packs per minute to high-speed lines at up to 450 packs per minute — for bakery, confectionery, cheese, dairy bars, meat, vegetables and non-food products.
Fast selection logic for a flow pack machine:
- Product: size, weight, shape; fragile, sticky or heavy products need special feeding.
- Output: up to 60, 100–200, 250 or 450 packs per minute.
- Film feeding: top film for most products, bottom film or direct placement for heavy, sticky and delicate products.
- Shelf life: standard pack or MAP with inert gas.
