Automatic Case Erectors for Corrugated Boxes
SIGITASPAK supplies automatic case erectors for forming corrugated cardboard boxes from flat blanks in end-of-line packaging systems.
Case erecting machines are used before product loading, case packing and carton sealing. The equipment automatically takes a flat corrugated blank from the magazine, opens it into a box, forms the bottom flaps and seals the bottom with adhesive tape.
Automatic case erectors reduce manual box preparation, improve line stability and provide consistent box geometry before products are loaded into American case boxes, transport cartons or corrugated shipping cases.
Case erectors prepare corrugated American case boxes for automatic or manual product loading in secondary and transport packaging lines.
The section includes machines for different box sizes and production speeds, including high-speed box erecting up to 25–30 boxes per minute.
Case erectors can be integrated with case packers, carton sealing machines, conveyors, robotic loading systems and palletizing equipment.
The section includes two types of box forming equipment. Automatic Corrugated Case Erector is suitable for American case boxes with a wider box size range, while Automatic Cardboard Box Erector is designed for higher-speed forming of smaller corrugated boxes.
Depending on the production task, the machine can seal the bottom of the box with adhesive tape or be configured with a hot-melt glue station. This allows the equipment to be adapted for different corrugated board types, box formats and case packing requirements.
