Wraparound case packers are used at the final stage of production lines to group primary packages and form a cardboard case directly around the product block. This technology is suitable for food, dairy, beverage, grocery, confectionery, household chemical and non-food manufacturers.
Unlike American Case packing, where products are loaded into a pre-formed corrugated box, wraparound technology uses a flat cardboard blank that is folded around the grouped product. This helps reduce cardboard consumption, improve package compactness and create stable transport or retail-ready packaging.
Machines form compact cardboard cases around grouped products for transport, warehouse handling and distribution.
Depending on the blank design, the finished package can be used as a retail-ready showbox for shelf display.
