AMATA Multihead Weighers for Automated Packaging
SIGITASPAK supplies and integrates AMATA multihead weighers for accurate combination dosing of food and non-food products in automated packaging lines.
AMATA KATE multihead weighers are designed for stable portioning of dry, free-flowing, granular, frozen, fragile, sticky, moist, fine-fraction, long and small-piece products. The range includes 10-head, 14-head, 20-head and 28-head combination weighers for different production speeds, dose ranges and product handling requirements.
The AMATA range allows SIGITASPAK to supply not only packaging machines, but complete weighing and packaging solutions: from product feeding and accurate dosing to bag forming, sealing, inspection, conveying and downstream packaging.
Multihead weighers calculate the best weight combination from several weighing pockets to achieve stable portion weight and high dosing accuracy.
Special versions are available for snacks, nuts, pasta, cereals, frozen products, biscuits, fragile bakery items, salads, cottage cheese, seeds and fine-fraction products.
AMATA weighers can be integrated with VFFS machines, flow pack machines, tray sealers, thermoforming lines, filling systems, conveyors and inspection equipment.
Standard radial multihead weighers are suitable for free-flowing products such as grains, cereals, pasta, sugar, salt, snacks, nuts, dried fruits, tea, coffee beans, candies, frozen vegetables, berries, dumplings and pet food.
For more complex products, SIGITASPAK offers specialised AMATA configurations: R30 and R45 versions with gentle chutes for fragile products, SR and KR versions with screw feeding for sticky or moist products, CR for loose cottage cheese and soft dairy products, FR for fine-fraction products, and BR for long thin products such as bread sticks, spaghetti and wafer rolls.
High-speed AMATA KATE-220-R and KATE-228-R weighers are designed for demanding packaging lines where increased throughput is required. These models can work with two packaging machines, high-speed VFFS systems or controlled mixing modes for two different products.
