AMATA KATE-210-KR Multihead Weigher for Korean Salads and Moist Products
AMATA KATE-210-KR is a special two-level 10-head radial multihead weigher with screw feeding, mesh weighing pockets and mesh discharge chutes, designed for accurate combination dosing of sticky and moist products.
The weigher is suitable for Korean salads, seafood salads, fresh vegetable salads, sauerkraut, seaweed salad and other moist products that are difficult to dose with traditional vibration-based multihead weighing systems.
Instead of standard vibrating radial feeders, AMATA KATE-210-KR uses screw feeders to move the product into the weighing system. Mesh pockets and mesh discharge chutes help process wet and sticky products more consistently and reduce the risk of product sticking.
The weighing pockets and discharge chutes are made of stainless steel approved for food applications. Product-contact surfaces are made in a mesh design, which is especially useful for products with moisture, brine or sauce residues.
The receiving funnel, screw feeders, accumulating baskets, weighing baskets and discharge chutes have a removable design for easier cleaning, maintenance and product changeover.
AMATA KATE-210-KR can be used as a standalone dosing unit for filling into ready containers or integrated with vertical packaging machines and complete packaging lines supplied by SIGITASPAK for food manufacturers in the UAE, GCC countries, the Middle East, Africa and other international markets.
