AMATA KATE-210-CR Multihead Weigher for Sticky and Moist Products
AMATA KATE-210-CR is a special two-level 10-head radial multihead weigher with screw feeding and sliding-type weighing pockets, designed for accurate combination dosing of sticky and moist products.
The weigher is especially suitable for loose cottage cheese, curd products, moist dairy products and other sticky or difficult-to-slide products that cannot be efficiently processed by traditional vibration-based multihead weighing systems.
Instead of standard vibrating radial feeders, AMATA KATE-210-CR uses screw feeders to move the product into the weighing system. This helps dose sticky and moist products more consistently and reduces the risk of product bridging or uncontrolled movement.
The weighing pockets are made of smooth or corrugated stainless steel approved for food applications. If required, product path surfaces can be coated with an anti-adhesion layer to improve product movement and reduce sticking.
The receiving funnel, screw feeders, accumulating baskets, weighing baskets and discharge chutes have a removable design for easier cleaning, maintenance and product changeover.
AMATA KATE-210-CR can be used as a standalone dosing unit for filling into ready containers or integrated with vertical packaging machines and complete packaging lines supplied by SIGITASPAK for dairy, food and non-food manufacturers in the UAE, GCC countries, the Middle East, Africa and other international markets.
