Auger Volumetric Fillers for Powder Packaging Lines
SIGITASPAK supplies auger volumetric fillers for accurate dosing of dusty, powdery and difficult-to-flow products in automated packaging lines.
Auger filling equipment is suitable for flour, starch, cocoa powder, chicory, milk powder, mustard powder, ground spices, soda, salt, powdered ingredients, dry mixes, chemical powders, fine construction mixes and other food or non-food powder products.
Auger fillers dose the product by rotating a screw inside a dosing tube. The portion volume is set by the number of auger revolutions and the auger size, which makes this dosing method suitable for powders that cannot be reliably processed by sliding, rotary cup or standard volumetric fillers.
DSH auger fillers are designed for flour, starch, cocoa, dry milk, spices, soda, salt, powdered ingredients and other dusty products.
The screw dosing principle helps move powders that do not flow evenly through ordinary volumetric cups or sliding-gate dosing systems.
Auger fillers can be integrated with VFFS machines, stick pack machines, sachet machines, doypack filling machines and conveyors.
The section includes DSH1, DSH2 and DSH Servo auger fillers. DSH1 is a compact solution for standard powder dosing tasks, DSH2 provides higher output, and DSH Servo uses a servo-driven auger for more precise and high-speed dosing control.
Depending on the product and target dose, the filler can be configured with different augers, dosing tubes, hoppers, mixers, dust extraction systems and shut-off valves. The configuration is selected according to product density, flowability, dust formation, required output and packaging format.
