Volumetric Fillers for Packaging Lines
SIGITASPAK supplies volumetric fillers for dosing free-flowing, granular, small-fraction, dusty and selected abrasive products in automated packaging lines.
Volumetric dosing equipment is used when the product has stable bulk density and can be portioned by a predefined volume. These systems are suitable for sugar, salt, grains, cereals, seeds, nuts, tea, coffee, spices, cocoa, flour, soda, bath salts, granulated products and selected non-food materials.
Unlike gravimetric weighers, volumetric fillers form each dose by volume using measuring cups, sliding gates, rotary dosing mechanisms or rotary valve systems. This makes them compact, economical and efficient for products with consistent physical properties.
Sliding volumetric dosers are suitable for low and medium output dosing of free-flowing products such as sugar, salt, grains, seeds, tea, coffee and spices.
Rotary volumetric fillers are designed for fast dosing of small-fraction products up to 10 mm, including grains, seeds, nuts, tea, coffee and granular products.
Rotary valve volumetric fillers are used for powders, cocoa, flour, soda, spices, bath salts and other dusty or abrasive free-flowing products.
The section includes sliding volumetric dosers, rotary volumetric fillers and rotary valve volumetric fillers. Each model is selected according to product fraction size, flowability, dust formation, abrasiveness, target dose volume and required production speed.
Volumetric fillers can be used as standalone dosing units or integrated with vertical VFFS packaging machines, stick pack and sachet machines, doypack filling machines, conveyors and complete automated packaging systems.
