AMATA KATE-228-R 28-Head Radial Multihead Weigher
AMATA KATE-228-R is a two-level 28-head radial multihead weigher designed for high-speed combination dosing of free-flowing, granular, frozen, small-piece and selected non-food products.
The weigher is suitable for dried fruits, muesli, tea, coffee beans, grains, cereals, pasta, snacks, frozen ready-to-cook products, frozen fruits and vegetables, pet food and other products that require accurate and stable portioning before packaging.
AMATA KATE-228-R is equipped with 28 weighing pockets, which provides a high number of available weight combinations and supports operation at up to 2 × 120 cycles per minute. The model can be used with two packaging machines or with high-speed packaging equipment.
The combination weighing principle allows the system to select the most accurate dose from multiple weighing pockets while maintaining very high production speed. The machine can also be used for dosing two different products in a controlled mixing mode.
Product-contact parts are made of stainless steel. For frozen products, corrugated stainless steel can be used, while difficult-to-slide products can be handled with an anti-adhesion coating on the product path.
AMATA KATE-228-R can operate as a standalone dosing unit or be integrated with VFFS packaging machines, high-speed packaging machines, conveyors and complete packaging lines supplied by SIGITASPAK for food and non-food manufacturers in the UAE, GCC countries, the Middle East, Africa and other international markets.
