BRIQUETTE FORMING MACHINE for Flat-Top Packages
BRIQUETTE FORMING MACHINE is an automatic package forming module designed to shape already filled flat-bottom bags with an open top into compact rectangular flat-top briquette packages.
The machine is used together with vertical filling and packaging equipment for bulk, powder and granular products. It forms a neat rectangular package without loose film edges, helping improve product appearance, pallet stability, transport efficiency and shelf presentation.
The key function of the machine is to transform a filled flat-bottom bag into a stable briquette-style package with a flat top. Closing can be performed by heat sealing or by applying an adhesive label to the top fold, depending on the selected configuration.
The briquette forming machine operates synchronously with the filling and packaging machine. After the bag is filled with product, it is transferred to the forming module, where the top part of the package is shaped, excess film is trimmed, the upper fold is formed and the package is closed.
A compact rectangular package helps reduce storage and transportation costs because products can be stacked more densely in boxes, trays or group packaging. It also improves the efficiency of secondary packaging, as more product units can be placed in the same transport volume.

BRIQUETTE FORMING MACHINE can be configured for different flat-bottom bag sizes and closing methods, including heat sealing or adhesive label closing.
The adhesive label closing option allows the top fold of the package to be opened and closed repeatedly without deforming the bag. This is useful for retail products that are consumed gradually after opening.
