The exhibition provided Sigitaspak with a unique opportunity to introduce customers to cutting-edge products and services, participate in discussion sessions and network with customers from Kenya, East Africa and around the world.
The event also included a series of informative conferences where experts shared their knowledge and opinions on industry issues. Sessions covered a wide range of topics including sustainable packaging, automation and food safety. One of the key points of the discussion was environmental conservation and proper plastic recycling. According to statistics, more than 2,000 rubbish trucks filled with plastic end up in oceans, rivers and lakes every day, and this figure could triple by 2060. A study published in Science Advances in 2020 estimates that 250 million tonnes of plastic waste will be disposed of in Africa by 2040 if the current trend continues.

Propak East Africa provided an opportunity for Sigitaspak to better understand the Kenyan market trends and customer needs. We signed dozens of contracts with leading manufacturers to produce packaging solutions for both filling dairy products and packaging a wide range of finished products into doy packs, stickers and cups.
The compact model fits better in small spaces and provides precise control for best results. The design of our machines makes it possible to create production areas in rooms with ceilings of less than 3 meters. In addition, our machines can be connected to a single-phase 220 V mains supply to save energy.
