SIGI CBA Header Card Packaging Machine
SIGI CBA is a header card packaging machine designed for automatic application of cardboard sleeves or card headers on flat bottom and stabilo bags.
The machine is used after bag forming and filling. It receives the finished package, positions it under the header card application unit and applies the cardboard element with hot melt glue. The card header gives the package a more premium, craft-style and shelf-ready appearance.
SIGI CBA is especially relevant for manufacturers that want to keep the visual character of handmade or premium packaging while automating the application of cardboard headers, sleeves and optional eyelets.
The bag is inserted into the transport system by a special vacuum belt. Then the package is positioned under the application station, where the cardboard header is fixed with hot melt glue and pressed onto the top of the package for stable adhesion.
Depending on the configuration, the machine can also be equipped with an eyelet or rivet inserting device. This gives the package a distinctive artisanal look and improves the presentation of products packed in flat bottom or stabilo bags.
SIGI CBA can be installed in line with existing packaging machines producing flat bottom and stabilo bags, or supplied as part of a complete packaging solution with feeding, dosing, bag forming and downstream equipment.
